Accommodations
There are sufficient electrical outlets in each bedroom for hair dryers and other devices requiring electricity. Hair dryers are not supplied. Westerbeke has signage that informs guests not to have more than one high amp appliance on at any one time, as this will flip the safety feature on their circuit breaker.
For do-it-yourself clothes washing, Launderland is about a 10-minute drive from the Ranch.

Environment
Mosquitoes are around most days at dusk and dawn. Snakes and ticks are in the forested trail areas only (not within our accommodation or training area). Eco-friendly insect repellent and appropriate clothing is advisable.
Further information and downloadable brochures are available from the Marin/Sonoma Mosquito and Vector Control District.
A sun hat and clothing you can layer is recommended. Long-sleeved shirts, long trousers and hats are recommended in the forested areas.
You need sturdy closed shoes if you go walking on the trails in the forested areas. Sports shoes and sandals with flat soles are suitable for the ranch.
It is a coastal California climate—cool in the evening (50 degrees) and hot in the daytime (80s, 90s, or 100s if there is a heat wave).
Food
Yes. This is included in your training fee. The dining room opens at 8:00 am.
All meals are buffet-style without anyone serving us. Meals are not made to order. We are not permitted to bring our own food onto the premises. Your dietary requirements will be integrated into the menu if communicated on your application form. New dietary requests cannot be accommodated once the training begins.

Policies
In order to receive the maximum benefits from The Integral Protoanalysis of The Scarab Trainings™, it is important that there be no drinking, drugs or smoking during the 10-day period that the trainings are being given. Drinking, drug-taking and smoking cause changes in the body and mind that prevent the purified Higher States of Mind from being attained. It is best to stop well in advance before coming to the training. Thank you for your cooperation.
If you cannot arrive at the training on time on July 6, or you would have to leave early on July 15, it is best to wait for another time to participate in this series of trainings, as they are presented as an integral series, which must be embodied in their entirety.
In order to have time to rest and be ready to attend the July 6 Training Introduction, you may need to arrive a few days in advance and stay off-site.
Please refrain from wearing perfume or aftershave in the training room and dining room.
